Description: The IPS 500 standard model series data processing shredders feature 16" infeed throat widths and cutting cylinder length with 1-1/2 hp drive motors. Console units feature hands-free control electronics with automatic start/stop photo cell actuation; user friendly touch sensitive key pad; auto-reverse, anti-jam sensor; audible/visual alarm indicators for bag full, door open, anti-jam safety limits. Composite cabinet construction operation provides "whisper quiet" operation. The model IPS523 crosscut shredder is D.O.D. spec 1mm x 4mm particle size, NSA approved destruction device for "Classified" Information through Top Secret (INFOSEC, COMSEC, SCI, CRYPTOLOGIC, etc.) All IPS 500 series shredders are provided with a single tier forms feed rack; optional three tier forms rack available. Accessories (please order separately): waste bags, forms rack (3 tier), oil and automatic oiler.
